The meeting was held in Brussels on October 3, 2012 and involved the presentation of eight LIFE+ projects approved in 2012, which are aimed at developing programmes for the management and restoration of Natura 2000. The Commission circulated a document) on these projects, prepared by the external monitoring team projects (Astrale), which analyzes the contents and common aspects of these projects. In addition to the Spanish project on the preparation of the Prioritised Action Framework, the following projects were presented at the meeting:

- Programme for management and restoration of Natura 2000 in Wales (United Kingdom)
- Preparation of action plans for Natura 2000 sites in England (United Kingdom)
- Strategic approach to the management of Natura 2000 Network in Trentino and Lombardy (Italy)
- National Programme for management Natura 2000 in Latvia
- Programme for the management and monitoring of Mediterranean wetlands and rivers in Castille and Leon (Spain)
